Select Online Mode
Enter your Groq API key (get one free at console.groq.com)

Offline Mode Setup

Open the app and tap Settings
Select Offline Mode
Tap Download Model (4.9 GB - one-time download)
Wait for download to complete (WiFi recommended)
Enjoy private, offline AI chat!

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

How much storage do I need?

For offline mode, you need at least 8 GB of free space. The AI model is 4.9 GB, with additional space needed for the app and conversations.

Does offline mode really work without internet?

Yes! After downloading the model, offline mode works completely without internet. All processing happens on your device.

Is my data private?

Absolutely. In offline mode, nothing leaves your device. In online mode, messages are sent to Groq for processing but are not stored permanently. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Can I use both modes?

Yes! You can switch between online and offline modes anytime in Settings based on your needs.

How do I get a Groq API key?

Visit console.groq.com, create a free account, and generate an API key. Groq offers a generous free tier.

Why is the download so large?

The offline AI model (Dolphin X1 8B) is a sophisticated language model that runs entirely on your device. This size enables high-quality, private AI conversations without internet.

What are the performance modes?

Fast: Quick responses, shorter context
Balanced: Good quality and speed
Uncensored: Highest quality, detailed responses

How do I manage conversations?

Tap the menu icon to create new chat sessions, switch between conversations, or delete old chats. All conversations are saved automatically.

Can I export my conversations?

Currently, conversations are stored locally on your device. Export functionality is coming in a future update.

🐛 Troubleshooting

Model download failed

Check your internet connection
Ensure you have enough storage space (8 GB free)
Try again on WiFi for faster, more stable download
Restart the app and try again

App crashes or freezes

Make sure you have the latest version installed
Restart your device
Clear some storage space if device is full
Try switching performance mode to "Fast"

"API key invalid" error

Double-check your API key for typos
Generate a new key at console.groq.com
Ensure the key hasn't expired or been revoked

Offline mode not responding

Ensure the model downloaded completely
Check available RAM (close other apps)
Restart the app
Try "Fast" performance mode for lower resource usage
